Industrial Designer
Graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Industrial Design in 1996. Member of ETMK (Industrial Designers’ Society of Turkey) and BARBAR Independent Design Initiative. Served as a visiting instructor at Anadolu University, Department of Industrial Design between 2005-2014. Presently working as visiting instructor at Bahcesehir University.
I believe in the inseparability of aesthetics and functionality, but I also value cultural habits, craftsmanship, history and the details of daily life as triggering factors for my designs. In my opinion, quality in design is defined by distinction, innovation, enjoyment, practicality and affordability. In order to achieve this, I participate actively in every stage of the process, from the initial sketches to the product launch.

Graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Architecture in 1990. Received his master’s degree from Bilkent University Fine Arts Institute in 1993, studying graphic design and architectural photography. Member of Chamber Of Architects Of Turkey and BARBAR Independent Design Initiative. Served as a visiting instructor at Uludag University, Department of Architecture between 1998-2001.
For me, the true criterion of success is the ability to generate functional solutions within given budget and calendar constraints, while remaining faithful to the clients' primary vision for the product…

Industrial Designer
Özüm studied Industrial Design at Middle East Technical University and she has been working for Kilit Tasi Design Team since her graduation in 2005. She takes part in the research, design, presentation and production supervision stages of various product design projects.
The ever-increasing range of product types we design is the main challenge that keeps my motivation as fresh as when I first started working. This diversity in range enables us to work with the individual dynamics of every product and sector.
