ISTANBUL MODERN KOK VASE

“Kök” (English: Root) is a vase commissioned by the Istanbul Modern Museum Store to be part of a special collection of retail items commemorating the museum’s 10th anniversary. Made of ceramics, a material with an 8,000 year history on the Anatolian peninsula, the vase reflects the values sustained and preserved by Istanbul Modern. The use of partial glazing and the choice of colors on the vase strengthens the distinctive design qualities of the product.
